Abbe Drake is a classically trained mezzo-soprano holding a Masters in Music with a Vocal Arts emphasis from the University of Southern California Thornton School where she studied with Cynthia Munzer, Morten Lauridsen, and Nick Strimple. Career highlights include performing in Lost in the Stars directed by Anne Bogart at The Center for the Art of Performance at UCLA, appearing in Beauty and the Beast as both Madame de la Grande Bouche and Mrs. Potts at Casa 0101 under the artistic direction of Josefina López, and performing in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia as Princess Leia. She recently understudied Eliza in My Fair Lady at Clackamas Repertory Theater. On October 22, Abbe will be the Alto Soloist in Mahler's Das Lied von der Erde with 45th Parallel Universe Chamber Orchestra in their season opening concert at First United Methodist Church in Portland, Oregon. This Winter, she will reprise the role of Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors with Triangle Productions.
